A recently-opened specialist eye clinic in Kings Hill has welcomed the Rt Hon Tom Tugendhat, MP for Tonbridge and Malling, for a tour of its high-tech facilities.

The Maidstone clinic currently offers NHS cataract surgery to help reduce waiting lists and provide this sight-saving surgery to local residents, without delay.
Tom Tugendhat visited the Optegra clinic on Kings Hill Avenue where he had the opportunity to meet the clinic manager and clinical team, together with several patients who are in the process of having their cataract treatment at Optegra.
Staff at the clinic took the opportunity to thank Mr Tugendhat for his ongoing support of their efforts to reduce long wait times for cataract treatments as a result of the pandemic.
